I’m Nilsu Akbacak Öztek — a designer with a deep passion for creating meaningful objects that blend aesthetics with functionality. I graduated from Yeditepe University, Faculty of Architecture, with a degree in Industrial Design. My journey in design has always been about more than beauty; it’s about originality, emotional connection, and thoughtful purpose.
In 2018, I founded Nowart Jewelry with a collection of pieces I personally designed and handcrafted. Born from a desire to express individuality, the brand reflects a unique design philosophy — each piece is carefully crafted in my atelier using silver, gold, and bronze. By merging traditional techniques with modern lines, I create jewelry that is both timeless and innovative.
Nowart Jewelry is not just a jewelry brand; it’s a design language. This language extends beyond accessories — influencing areas such as furniture, yacht interiors, home appliances, and custom objects. I work on both one-of-a-kind and production-ready designs, always prioritizing not just aesthetics, but also functionality and user experience.
I am personally involved in every step of the brand’s journey. From product photography to modeling, I bring my vision to life through hands-on creative direction. This intimate connection strengthens the authenticity of the brand and keeps the spirit of craftsmanship alive.
